The Kimono Top

I've been looking for a new jacket or cardigan to wear to work since it gets very cold at the office and I came across this Kimono top at Forever 21.  The first thing that caught my attention was the fabric (silk) and the little cherry blossom flowers print. Then I try it on and fell in love with it.

 

 It is so light that I can take it with me to any place that I know I could get cold, like when traveling, going out to dinner and of course my office. 

If you decide to buy one or if you own one, be careful on how you style it since you don't want to look like if you are wearing pajamas. Whether styled with jeans, trousers or dresses, the kimono top manage to dress everything up, instantly, thanks to the tailored square-shaped sleeves and breezy open cut. Try wearing it with a neutral color outfit (like black) and accessorize it with very fine jewelry and a nice bag (mine is from Michael Kors).

Summer colors!

 

 

 

I love summer time, especially for all the colorful clothes. It is sad that it's coming to an end soon to make way for Fall, which comes packed with more neutral and dark colors (Fall season officially starts on September 22nd). Here I'm wearing one of my favorite dresses, it has all the colors of the season and it's very light, perfect for this hot summer. I decided to wear it with my blush blazer, so the colors of the dress can stand out more and my nude wedges.

  

 

 

I LOVE these rings! you can use them all three together or separate.
